After nearly three decades of advancing solutions to some of the world’s most complex challenges, Meridian Institute has concluded its operations.

Merdian Institute was founded in 1997 as a mission-driven, nonprofit organization. Over nearly three decades, we played a vital role helping our partners address complex challenges and improve lives, the environment, and the economy. We served as a trusted convenor, strategic thought partner, fiscal sponsor, and catalyst for powerful impact.

In partnership with thousands of leaders from diverse backgrounds and communities across the globe, we built understanding, guided collaboration, and advanced solutions to our world’s most pressing problems.

Although Meridian has closed its doors, its spirit lives on through former staff members, partners, and collaborators, as well as the many initiatives we were honored to support.

This is a challenging time for the world. Our belief in democratic values is needed now more than ever. As we move forward and continue to strive for collective progress, we remain committed to building understanding and fostering collaboration between diverse perspectives.

We are profoundly grateful to our dedicated community of staff, affiliates, senior fellows, funders, and partners. Thank you for your commitment and collaboration over 28 years.
